Matters Raised By DMBC Members
2146. It was noted that Bawtry library is possibly to be kept open and run by a charitable body.
2147. There has been a new appointment within the Neighbourhood Team, Ms Claire Ganon is to take over the responsibilities of Ms John-Lewis.
Neighbourhood Report
2148. DMBC reported that the HGV signs requested for High Street are in progress. The confusion regarding the bush that requires removal along Manor Walk was clarified. The bush on private property has been cut back by the owner and the bush in the middle of the grassed area is to be removed by DMBC.
2149. DMBC are in the process of refurbishing and painting all public benches in the area, the scheme should be completed by the end of June.
2150. The bench on Tofield Road has still not been replaced and it appears the haulier has now damaged the grassed area and a highways sign. DMBC to contact the haulier.
2151. The Osberton Street play area is almost complete, but a small area of the surface has failed and is to be replaced by the supplier. There is to be an opening ceremony involving the school, DMBC and the parish council. Date to be advised. Members noted that litter is already appearing at the site, DMBC confirmed that the cleansing department will visit the site weekly and that if a litter bin is not on site, the provision of one will be investigated.
2152. Members noted that trees needed lopping on Osberton Street and Church Walk. A quote to lop the trees on the snicket off New Tree Drive was also requested.
2153. Members thanked DMBC for arranging the cancellation of the invoice for the defective grass cutting in February. DMBC commented that grounds maintenance is to be centralised and that a significant improvement in the standard of grass cutting could be expected.

Police Report
2154. No report had been received. Members asked if the police could attend the July meeting.
Ordinary Vacancy2155. Mrs Bacon expressed an interest in joining the parish council. Her co-option to the parish council was proposed

2156. Minutes
The minutes of the meeting held on 12th May 2011 were accepted as a true record and authorised to be signed by the Chairman.
2157. It was noted that a letter of thanks for all his hard work as a councillor had been sent to Mr Leaney and that thanks had been expressed to Mr Roe at the May meeting.
Matters Arising From The Minutes
2158. The parishioner concerned about the state of the allotments had not contacted Councillor Wright to discuss thematter further. Clerk to enquire of the parishioner as to whether the matter is now closed . The allotments are to be kept on the agenda and a specimen agreement is to be discussed at the July meeting.
2159. Councillor Training Councillor Bacon is to attend the Joining the Council course at Hatfield. Clerk to arrange.

2162. Clerk to chase DMBC to see if any holiday activities are planned specifically for Wadworth. Also to chase YLCA for the Standards Committee nomination papers. Wadworth Parish Council is to support nominations for Councillor Jackson of Hatfield and Councillor Johnson of Finningley.
Matters Raised By Members
2163. It was noted that DMBC is considered to be a failing authority by the Government and that a Chief Executive and Recovery Board have been appointed to resolve the current problems.
2164. A focus group is finding out what individuals think about the services provided by DMBC, it would appear that the issues in Tickhill are mainly about refuse collection.
Financial Matters
2165. A quote has been received from Came & Co to renew the parish insurance, three options are available. Members considered the options and agreed on a three year agreement and a move to October for the renewal date.
